Steve Melson and I went to the drag strip to test out the new set up after it was tuned on Wednesday to the tune of 1024rwhp. The car is surging really bad about 24psi because the stock automatic ecu is shifting the transmission at 7000rpm and when it drops the next gear it puts it right in the surge zone. He is going to get his shift points changed to 8500rpm and install an anti-surge housing. That should help the engine stay out of the surge zone between 4-5k rpm when shifting.
